Meet the team.
Dr Ronan Perry established Pearls Dental Clinics in Dublin 2006, Ronan graduated with honours from the Dental School at Trinity College Dublin in 1998. Ronan worked as a general dentist in Dublin before moving the UK, to work as in one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals.
In 2000, he was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Ronan completed a three year full time Masters in the Speciality of Orthodontics in Trinity College Dublin in 2005. In addition he was awarded a Masters in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2005.
Ronan has a special interest in lingual orthodontics and is one of Ireland’s leading practitioners of lingual orthodontics with over 200 lingual orthodontic cases.
Ronan is a registered specialist and an active member of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland, of which he has served as membership secretary and editor of the society newsletter. Ronan was instrumental in setting up the patient focused OSI website. www.orthodontics.ie
Ronan has published several papers in clinical research and orthodontics, and has presented his research at international meetings, such as the European Orthodontic Congress.
Ronan is currently studying for an Msc in Lingual Orthodontics at the University of Hannover Medical school in Germany, in addition to his existing specialist qualifications.
The MSc in Lingual orthodontics is led by Prof. Dirk Wiechmann, who developed the incognito lingual appliance, Dr Dirk Wiechmann is globally recognised expert on lingual orthodontics.
Ronan is available to see patient’s at any one of his three clinics: Maynooth, Castleknock and Dublin city centre.
Dr Perry is a keen triathlete and is an active member of 3D triathlon club.
Specialist Oral Surgeon

Naomi qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honours degree in Dentistry. She was awarded the entrance exhibitioner award in 1999 and a three year Scholarship Award in 2000.
Naomi has worked as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital and also in general dental practice. She was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2006. The following year she undertook a three year Doctorate programme in Oral Surgery in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital. During this time she published numerous articles and has also been invited to speak at dental conferences on surgical related topics.
In 2010 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in Oral Surgery. She presently teaches part time in the Oral Surgery Department of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital.
Dr. Rahman is a fully participating member with all major health insurers including VHI, Aviva, Quinn, St. Paul’s Garda Medical Aid and the ESB Medical Fund.
Dr. Angus Roche
L.D.S, R.C.S.I, M.Sc, ULond.
Angus qualified in Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1970. From there he travelled to London to complete a Masters in Restorative Dentistry from The London University in 1974. During his time there and since he has advanced his skills in the use Composite( tooth coloured) fillings. Restorative dentistry also includes such Dentistry as Crown and Bridge work, Root Canal treatments and Implant work.
After completing his Masters, Angus returned to Dubin to work in private practice . During this time he also has worked part time on the teaching staff in the Dublin Dental Hospital.
Dr. Roche also practices with the assistance of oral sedation. This is to aid patients who suffer from anxiety or have difficulty accepting treatment.
AnnMarie, originally from Kilkenny, moved to Dublin to attend Dublin Dental University Hospital (Trinity College), where she graduated with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2006. During her time there she was the first student to be awarded a scholarship to attend the Kristianstad University, School of Dental Hygiene in Sweden. The award was given based on a presentation she gave to her peers on ‘The Importance of Oral Hygiene Aids’. She studied there for a short while.
Now AnnMarie works as a Dental Hygienist in both general dental practices and orthodontic practices across Dublin. With a specific interest in orthodontics and an invaluable attention to detail AnnMarie brings close to a decade’s worth of experience to our team.
AnnMarie enjoys music and in her spare time often records backing vocals on tracks for a local recording studio.
Dr Natalia Kogut
Natalia qualified from Lublin Medical University in 2009 with an honours degree in dentistry. She then completed a year of vocational training which included experience in Orthodontics. After years of practising prosthodontics and general dentistry she developed a passion for Orthodontics and decided to focus at this branch of dentistry. Natalia is a keen attender of Post Graduate Courses to keep her up to date with all the modern advances in Orthodontics. Dr. Kogut moved to Ireland at the start of 2014 and became fully registered with Irish Dental Council in March 2014. She started working in Pearls Dental Clinic in April 2014 joining our Orthodontics team. Natalia is working in Maynooth, Smithfield and Castleknock.
